Seminar 5Neuroprivilogy - The art/science of (privileged) access point networkWith applications now extending across on-premise, cloud and other environments, organizations continually struggle to effectively manage, access, store and secure their critical data and applications. While these organizations rely on evolving identity management technology and other security systems to address these concerns, the solutions consistently fail to address to the most fundamental concepts of data protection. The session will demonstrate how privileged operations accounts for limitless access to the infrastructure, hence require management and control by adequate tools. To facilitate better awareness and understanding, this session will test new terminology: Neuroprivilogy, describing the network nature of infrastructures and privileged access points vulnerabilities. Attendees will gain a better understanding of what ‘privileged access’ is, how it is defined in an extended enterprise, and how to better assess risk of privileged users and accounts. The session will specifically focus on how virtualized and cloud technologies compound that risk, discussing how traditional perimeter defenses are no longer enough to protect far-reaching cloud-enabled privileged operations. Whether data is hosted, based in a cloud or virtualized, administrative accounts and “privilege” are everywhere. |
Seminar 6Identity Governance and Security - The real role of Identity and Access Management for the Enterprise. This seminar will demonstrate how IAM solutions provide.
